Moving sections up the content management hierarchy not corresponding in website navigation
Hey guys
I'm not sure if the content management system is supposed to work like this but when I move a section up the hierarchy in the content management list of sections (and save the sections etc) it doesn't move the section up the navigation hierarchy on the website. E.g. when i move the 'weddings' section from 5th in the content management list to 2nd it still remains in the 5th tab in the website navigation (the order of sections in the navigation seems to be dictated by the order in which the sections were created).
Is there anything i can do about this?

This could be a caching bug if I am understanding correctly. Are you saying
that when you use the "Move this Page" button, it moves it in the admin but
on the front side of the website it is still in the same place?

Not quite. I don't use the 'move this page' button, I just click the page (i.e. those 3 horizontal lines next to the page name) and drag it up the list to the position I want it to be in. Similar to that in the template editor where you can choose the order that the fields appear in the content manager...

And when you do that it is not changing it on the front side even after a
refresh? I know we had a caching issue with reordering pages at one point,
but it was fixed.
What site is it that you have noticed this on?

It was with http://furneaux.harmonyapp.com/ . However, it's been brought to my attention that it might be an issue with my browser (I'm using Firefox 3.6.10). As I saved the pages in their new ordering last night and now when i logged into the back end this morning the pages have reverted back to their original order...

We typically test for Firefox, but we will double check.

Just tested in Firefox and Safari. Worked in Safari but failed in Firefox.
We'll get a fix out for that soon. Apologies.

Found the issue and fixed it. Will update here when this is deployed to
production.

Hi again John
Just wondering, has the fix been applied yet or are you still working on it? I ask because I am still unable to alter the ordering of the pages...

Nope. I am hoping to deploy today. Just nervous as some big changes are in
with this little fix. Sorry for the delay. Currently testing things.
