Browser hangs/crashes
Hey guys,
I just clicked on Home in the content manager and the browser just hung indefinitely. Darryn, one of our designers here, has said this happens quite a lot although it usually unfreezes and shows an error message.
Sorry I can't be more specific but just giving you a heads-up really.
Safari 5.0.2 on Mac BTW.
Cheers,
Galen

That sucks. I have never had this happen and the fact that you are using a
good browser means I can't blame that. :) Was the browser sitting open for a
while when you clicked Home? Wondering if maybe it was a session timeout
thing due to Safari's cookie issues right now. Does Darryn use Safari also?
Does it happen on the same site(s) and page(s)? Or different each time?

Hi John
I use Firefox 3.6.10. There doesn't seem to be any real reasoning behind it. For example, just 5 minutes ago I was just trying to save an alteration to a 'redirect' I created and the browser just hung indefinitely.
In other occasions when, for example, I would save an update i carried out on a page it appears that the harmony system 'crashes', doesn't save the changes carried out on the page and brings me back to the "manage your site" section of harmony... I would have to say that this happens more often (but not limited to) when I try to save newly created pages...
And I believe it has happened on most, if not all, of the websites I have worked on.
I hope this information helps

Hey Guys
I just tried to writing a blurb into our website, clicked the 'save and publish' button, went to another tab to while I was waiting for the update to publish, and returned back to my harmony tab to find it had crashed again...
Lately I've had a couple of clients contact me with the same issue as well.
Are you having any luck with remedying this bug?
Cheers
P.S. I'm running FireFox 4.0 if that helps, but I'm not sure if it's a browser problem as the clients who have contacted me are using IE8 and Firefox 3.6...

We are working on it and hope to have it fixed soon. Galen was able to get us some critical information the other day that is helping greatly with tracking down the problem. Thank you for your patience and again sorry for the delay.
