Assigning pages to multiple "sections"

Any suggestions on how to put a page into multiple sections (i.e., I guess, having multiple parents) without using Links?

This is actually more commonly needed than one might think—particularly for directory websites.

Any ideas?

   This is something we want to do, but we haven't got done quite yet. One of the reasons we're growing the team is to tackle our feature todo lists faster.
