What's the best way to convert a large website to Harmony
This is related to previous question http://support.harmonyapp.com/discussions/questions/70-using-regex-...
I have inherited a couple sites with 100+ pages of content I would like to convert them to Harmony.
Where do I even start?
Being that I am lazy, I would want to write a script to pares out the content, and then have it automatically insert it into Harmony...(how's that API Coming).
I think the reality is that I might be able to parse out some content from the pages, but then I will need manually massage the HTML, to make it valid, and copy and paste into Harmony.
If you have any suggestions on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Currently, the best way is to create a good structure in Harmony in your templates and template data, and then just churn through each site. In my experience, it moves pretty quickly, and often times you end up with more consistent, better results from the simple, flexible theming. Without an API (for now), there's no real way to automate the process, though I think the process of importing a complex site with an API would be pretty complex.
As far as manually massaging HTML for pages, I might consider converting it to textile or markdown, as it's way easier to maintain (in my experience).

I can't wait for the API :P. That's going to open up so many opportunities.

Agreed, we want it for our own sites as well. Be sure it's on the top
of our list.
